How do I CARE for sheepskin products?
Routine Maintenance
• Shake regularly: Take rugs or throws outside and give them a good shake to remove dust and restore loft.
• Brush the wool: Use a wire pet slicker brush or a wool carding brush weekly or bi-weekly to keep the fibres fluffy and free of tangles.
• Vacuum with care: Use plain suction settings only. Avoid rotating brush bars or power heads that can damage the hide or pull out fibres.
• Avoid direct sunlight: Keep sheepskin away from harsh sun to prevent the wool and leather from fading, yellowing, or drying out.
Spot Cleaning Spills
• Blot immediately: Press a clean, dry white cloth or paper towel into the spill to absorb as much liquid as possible without rubbing.
• Use wool-safe cleaner: Dab the area gently with a damp cloth and a mild detergent specifically made for wool or sheepskin. Keep the leather backing as dry as possible.
• Absorb odors: Sprinkle baking soda or cornstarch onto the wool, let it sit for an hour to absorb oils or smells, then brush or vacuum it out.
• Wash sparingly, use a specific 'Sheepskin Detergent' follow instructions and dry naturally.
W DO I mEASURE FOR A DOG COLLAR?
• Use a soft tape measure: Wrap the tape around your dog’s neck. Do not pull it too tight, and do not include the height of thick fur - you want an actual neck measurement
• If you do not have a soft tape measure, use a piece of string or a phone charging cable, then measure the length against a hard ruler or tape measure.
• Apply the two-finger rule: Slide two flat fingers between the tape (or collar) and your dog's neck. This provides enough slack for comfortable breathing without being loose enough to slip over the head or ears.
• Check an existing collar: Lay your dog's current collar flat and measure from the start of the material (where the buckle begins) to the hole or setting you use most often.
Milo & Pi collars sizes state the neck they will fit, based on the middle three holes.
HOW DO I mEASURE FOR A HUMAN BELT?
1. Measure around your natural waistline, where you would normally wear your jeans, jodhpurs or breeches ie. high waisted or low waisted trousers.
2. A belt size is not the same as your trouser size - you should buy a belt size at least 2 inches larger than your actual waist size. Check our sizing guide.
3. Alternatively, measure one of your favourite belts excluding the buckle to your preferred fastening hole and email us the measurement - we will ensure your new belt, buckles in the centre holes.
Are the DOG BED covers washable?
The decorative cover is machine washable on a 30 degree wool wash and is zipped for easy removal. Underneath the robust striped ticking mattress cover is also machine washable on a 30 degree wool wash, again it's zipped for easy removal. Please see full care instructions.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT SIZE DOG BED TO BUY?
Ensuring you buy the right size for your dog to encourage his natural sleeping position is very important. Do measure your dog, simply follow the instructions on our Sizing page.
