Working dogs do need collars and identity tags when in public
There is a common preconception that working dogs do not need to wear collars or identity tags. The law states “every dog while in a highway or in a place of public resort shall wear a collar with the name and address of the owner inscribed on the collar or on a plate or badge attached to it”. We are delighted to be stocking a range of felted wool products, made from New Zealand wool, hand made in Nepal. Pet caves provide snug and safe snoozing zones around the home for cats and toy breeds of dogs that like to burrow. We live, work and play in Cornwall. We are often asked for, or volunteer information, on our favourite dog friendly activities that we enjoy across the county. For us a lovely day out, combines a good dog walk, an activity and of course, food and drink. Here are some of our recommendations

Homemade ice lollies for dogs
As temperatures soar, Pi's keeping his cool with a chicken ice lolly. Dog friendly, nutritious and simple to make. We make a ‘chicken broth’ whenever we have a spare fresh chicken carcass leftover. The broth keeps fine in the fridge for a couple of days. We usually add it as a supplement to Pi’s dried food, but he loves it frozen in hot weather!
The inspiration behind Milo and Pi
We spent years trying to source quality, washable and beautiful bedding for our doggy companions and home. We waded through a sea of plastic, polyester batting, hollow fibre and memory foam products. All proved difficult to launder, became really smelly and were impossible to recycle or dispose of responsibly. -read more-
