Our Whippet Maasai Beadwork collars fit neck sizes 29 to 32cm the collar is 4.6cm at its widest point. 
Our collars are measured from the second, third and fourth holes excluding the first and fifth allowing for longer term changes in neck size.

Sighthound, fishtail style collars are available in three traditional Maasai colourways - browns, brown and turquoise, bright colours and stripes. Please select the design you like and the pattern number at time of ordering. Price includes post (Royal Mail Tracked 48) and pack.

Why choose a Sighthound collar?

Sighthound breeds, such as Greyhounds, Whippets, Salukis, Afghan hounds and Italian Greyhounds, have long graceful necks. These breeds hunt by sight and, can get very excited and lunge on their leads on seeing any fast moving object which they consider good enough to chase. These fishtail shaped collars are designed so the wide part of the collar will fit under the dog's throat and any pulling on the lead will not cut off his breath and arterial blood flow. The added benefit of wearing a wider than normal hound collar is that it spreads out pressure on the dog's neck preventing damage to the coat and hairless patches on your dog's neck.
