Maasai Leather Dog Collars and Leash

Our Maasai beaded dog collars and leash /  leads are handcrafted for Milo & Pi  by a women's enterprise group (or 'Beading Mamas' as they like to call themselves) based in   Kenya. The glass beads are hand sewn direct onto Ox leather using traditional Maasai designs and colour ways.

Each piece is finished by local artisans based in Nairobi, they glue and sew the beaded leather onto a second leather layer providing strength and durability and fix on brass 'D' rings and buckles.

Each piece is unique to its maker and we keep a wide range of sizes and styles including fishtail style collars for sighthounds.

Can't see what you are looking for? Please email us with an actual neck size and we will photograph what we have in stock to suit, as only a selection is listed here.

The only exceptions are when a working dog is actually working. Here's the detail -Read More-

Homemade ice lollies for dogs

As temperatures soar, Pi' loved keeping his cool with a chicken ice lolly. Dog friendly, nutritious and simple to make. We make a ‘chicken broth’ whenever we have a spare fresh chicken carcass leftover. The broth keeps fine in the fridge for a couple of days. We usually add it as a supplement to dried food, but the dogs love it frozen in hot weather!
